Xavier has been supporting children living with disabilities and their families for over 70 years. From here, our team of expertly trained physiotherapists can assist your child with their physical development and fitness through tailored exercise programs. The outcome of this is a better life for your child as they are able to experience more physical activities, improve their health, have more fun, and ultimately have a happier childhood.

In all the years that we have been doing this our team of specialist physiotherapists have helped improve the lives of countless children and young people living with disability. This wealth of experience is what makes the team at Xavier the ideal option for supporting your child with complex disability through their physiotherapy journey.

Do you need help in funding your child’s physiotherapy?

Our Ipswich based physiotherapy services can be funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). For this to be the case, physiotherapy must be deemed as either reasonable or necessary for supporting your child to reach the goals outlined in their NDIS plan. Reasonable refers to activities which everyone should be given fair access to, and necessary refers to those which are absolutely needed to manage a person’s disability.

Acquiring funding through the NDIS can be a complicated task regardless of whether you are trying to receive it for the first time or if you are already receiving funding but wish to make changes to the existing support that your child receives. Hand-in-hand with out sister organisation, InFocus, Xavier has been helping the families of children living with disability since the inception of the NDIS, so if you need assistance with any aspect of funding your child’s therapy, we’re here to help you with that too.
